Spiritually Dry?

It's good that I've been entertaining visitors these past few days. Not that I get bored (I rarely do) but it's refreshing to have someone over just to add a little disruption to our home....to the dismay of our household help. Hehe!

Yesterday, one of our very good friends came over. She's one of our friends from our Catholic charismatic renewal community in St. James The Great Parish, Ayala Alabang. My husband and I were, and we still are, part of the Singles Apostolate (SA) of the parish since year 2000-2001. Being in community has really been wonderful for us. Not only did we grow spiritually, we also gained so many friends who we had fun serving the Lord with. SA also played an integral part in strengthening our relationship as a couple. We became part of the apostolate during our early months of being boyfriend-girlfriend so you can say that our love grew as we grew spiritually as individuals.

Anyway, we haven't been active in community ever since our little princess was born. And our friend's visit made me miss serving in renewal. You see, she's super active right now. You can see that she's spiritually high and so in love with God. I miss the feeling of being filled by the Holy Spirit. I miss praise and worship. I miss serving and feeling of being "high". I try to pray regularly. My husband and I take turns in praying before going to sleep. But I'm thirsting for more. Is this what they call spiritual dryness?
