Philippines in Chicago
We recently enjoyed an authentic Filipino meal in a restaurant that my brother-in-law discovered through colleagues at a nursing convention in Chicago.
The restaurant, Pampanga Cuisine, has been in existence for 25 years. The interior of the place does look like it's 25 years old but the food is terrific! As usual, the food was gone before I thought of taking photos of it. But, anyway, we ordered chicharong bulaklak, molo soup, dinuguan, palabok and inihaw na liempo. It was so good to taste Filipino food again that we didn't feel the least bit guilty about all the unhealthy fat that we just ingested.
