On IPD...For Linda
If you look at the messages on my Cbox, Linda asked me a question about IPD.
Just want to share my response to her here on my blog...

Our pedia recommended that we have our baby vaccinated with IPD because we have to stay in the US for 6 months. IPD is common in the US because of the cold weather. It's rare in the Philippines because of the tropical climate. However, during our last pedia visit, he mentioned nga na dumadami na ang IPD cases in Southeast Asia so he might encourage more parents to think about having their babies vaccinated.
It really is expensive but, for us, it's going to be more expensive if she gets the disease here in the US. It gives us peace of mind knowing that she is immune to it.
