Le David Cook

David Cook was just on Ellen Degeneres' talk show a few minutes ago. Actually, the show's not over yet but I just wanted to write this down as soon as possible before the thought leaves my mind.

David Cook is one worthy American Idol. Of all the winners of the talent show, I think he is the one with the most star quality. M says I adore him because of his looks. True. But not "just because". The guy has talent as well as good looks. He reminds me so much of Jon Bon Jovi. Yes, Jon Bon Jovi of Bon Jovi. Yes, I'm that old. Haha!

I only started to watch AI Season 7 when they were already down to the top 6. I wasn't able to see David Cook's past performances. When Ellen said, "You had us at Billy Jean", I ran to the computer and searched for his performance on You Tube. I wished I watched it live. It was amazing the way he sang it.

David Cook is now on my list of favorites. Not quite close to chocolate chip cookies but he's a favorite nonetheless.
