I Am Anti-Aging

Although I previously managed a skincare brand, I never really had a beauty regime. I'd wash my face with any cleanser. Sometimes soap. I realized the importance of moisturizer while in training; just about the time when Unilever launched their Pond's White Beauty line. No, I didn't want to be "white". I wanted to have even skin tone and I wanted a matte moisturizer without spending thousands of pesos. It was funny because, at that time, I was Brand Manager of luxurious Elizabeth Arden but I preferred to use the economy brand. Kuripot talaga (really frugal).

I started using Pond's in my early twenties. Now that I'm in my early thirties, I still use it and I've very recently upgraded to their anti-aging product Age Defense cream. I am acknowledging the fact that, no matter how young I feel, my skin is starting to age and it requires care and attention to keep it healthy. I've been using the cream for about a week now and I've seen improvement. Not so visible on my face but more on my neck. (I apply the cream on my neck too.) I swear, my neck never felt this smooth. Almost velvety. It didn't erase the lines that suddenly appeared when I got pregnant but there is a definite difference in the texture.

When I finish my jar of Age Defense, I would like to try their more expensive Age Miracle line and see if they are true to their promise of "younger-looking skin in just 7 days".

So why not use Olay? I'm allergic to it.
