Art Institute of Chicago
Since our days here in Illinois are numbered, we have decided to make the most out of our weekends.
Last Saturday, we were able to lift our lazy bums out of the northern suburbs and into the city (a.k.a. downtown Chicago). We went to the Art Institute of Chicago and did not regret going.
Three Monets, three van Goghs, one Picasso --- it was so worth the $12 entry fee and the 2-hour trip from our place.
I love art and history so it was such a treat for me!
