Our Princess Turns One!
Our baby girl turned 1 year old last June 20, 2008. Since we were not in the Philippines, we celebrated it with a few relatives during our trip to Toronto, Canada.
It was so simple. Bought a cake at Loblaw's (a store similar to Super Target or Shopwise in Manila). The cake was a Red Velvet Cake with Cranberry Mousse. Some hated it, some of us loved it. Anyway, I didn't care as long as it matched the pink party stuff that we bought. Then we just bought chicken at KFC and MIL cooked spaghetti.
We're so glad we're not in the Philippines! There was no pressure and it lacked the stress of preparing a big party for our little princess. Even though there were only a few of us, it was really fun and special.
