Counting My Blessings
Homesickness is slowly creeping into my system.
So instead of dwelling on the lonely feeling, I thought of coming up with a list of things to be thankful for while I'm here in Illinois.

So instead of dwelling on the lonely feeling, I thought of coming up with a list of things to be thankful for while I'm here in Illinois.
Here it is...
- We have free housing and utilities & transportation expenses are bein paid for by my husband's company.
- Our apartment is in a very peaceful community and I am able to walk around town with my baby in tow.
- We live in a very nice apartment where there's housekeeping every other week so I don't need to clean the toilet.
- We have a gym in our building so I have the option to work out for free.
- We have free cable and internet so I can still communicate with my loved ones.
- We have a spacious kitchen where I am able to cook or bake whenever I want.
- Not one of us have been seriously ill and we have not gotten into an accident since we got here. Praise God!
- We are able to eat well here. In fact, I gained weight already. Hehe!
- The floor is carpeted so my baby had an easy time learning how to walk.
- Unlike in the Philippines, my husband gets to come home early since he gets off work at 5pm; sometimes earlier. He can even come home for lunch! :)
