Christmas in My Davao
Just a few days more and we'll be flying back to my hometown - Davao City!
Although I'm extremely excited to spend time with my parents, I'm wondering what we're going to do there for 10 days. Well, minus our arrival and departure dates, we'll be spending 8 full days in the Durian republic.
So far, these are some of the places I've thought of going to during our stay:
1. Paradise Island - It's our favorite place! Paradise is just about 15 minutes away from my parents' place, and this includes the boat ride. The food is delicious and easy on our pockets.
2. Crocodile Farm - Because we've never been there.
3. Waterfront (Insular) Hotel - My childhood memories include Christmases at Insular Hotel. This year, my cousin and I thought that it would be nice to spend time there with the kids during the holidays and re-live our childhood.
4. Pearl Farm - It would be nice to visit the place now that I'm a Mrs.
5. Blue Jaz Beach Resort - While searching for places to go to, I found this website www.mydavaocity.com and there was a blog post on Blue Jaz. Based on the website, the resort looks like it's worth visiting. Friends of mine also visited the resort a few months back and, based on their photos, I'm guessing they enjoyed it there.
Now that's five days already. We still have three free days that we can use to go around the city and spend more time with family.

I miss the durian frappe..I miss Durian Republic!!!!
