I decided not to unsubscribe from the real estate broker's newsletter since we're able to receive really good information about puchasing property.

Here's something that just came in today. I edited it; took out all the stuff about their services.

Choosing the right real estate professional to assist you in your purchase is just as important as finding the right home. Make sure your decision is informed.

Searching for a home is an in depth process that can sometimes be daunting. Here a few things you should consider when searching for your home:

Location – is the neighborhood what you are looking for and will it generate a good resale value?

Taxes, interest rates - is now a good time to buy?

Inspections - have you lined up a home inspector?

Determining your price – is the home in your set price range?

Calculating rent vs. buy using mort calc on site- is it worthwhile to wait and rent for the time being?

Timing – is now a good time to buy? Have you taken into consideration all aspects of home buying (mortgage, job, etc.)?
